Our Contributions Graduate Award in Avian Studies The success of the Canadian Parrot Symposium (CPS) has made it possible to give something back to aviculture. To this end, Blackburn and Mattacchione, directors of the CPS, established the Graduate Award in Avian Studies at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. Each year surplus revenue and the money raised from an auction held at the symposium are added to the endowment. The principal remains intact, with the award(s) made from the interest earned. Our contribution to this endowment is now $34,500. The University would be pleased to receive any donation. What a wonderful way to remember a favorite companion bird! By donating to this very special award you help us to help our feathered friends as well as helping Canadian veterinary students who are committed to this special area of studies.
